Located just metres away from Balluta Beach in St Julian’s, The Malta Marriott Hotel & Spa is a newly €30 million refurbished destination that blends contemporary luxury with the relaxed atmosphere of a Mediterranean spa retreat. The hotel features more than 320 premium guestrooms and luxury suites, complemented by five diverse restaurants and three bars, offering guests a refined yet welcoming hospitality experience.
In addition to its accommodation offering, the hotel provides 15,000 square feet of versatile meeting and banqueting space, positioning it as a key destination for both leisure and business travellers. The scale and complexity of the refurbishment demanded a partner capable of delivering consistency, quality, and efficiency across multiple areas of the hotel.
SAW was entrusted with furnishing all 320 guestrooms, including the manufacture and installation of fire doors, bathroom sliding doors, vanity units, headboards for sofa beds, as well as soft elements such as curtains and carpet. Each component was produced to meet international hotel standards while contributing to a cohesive and comfortable guest environment.
Beyond the guestrooms, SAW also delivered the furnishing of all public areas, including the hotel reception and lobby, restaurants, bar counters, parquet flooring, bench seating, and timber slatted soffits. The scope further included wall cladding and the supply of chairs and tables used throughout the hotel’s shared spaces, ensuring a unified design language across the property.
