Collaborating with Carlo Schembri &bold, SAW undertook the refurbishment of La Nave, executing the project under a demanding one-week deadline. This high-pressure timeline required intensive, round-the-clock coordination to introduce new joinery and furniture elements that enhanced both the aesthetics and functionality of the restaurant.
The project scope included the refurbishment of existing doors and the supply of six new main doors, alongside a comprehensive upgrade of the bar area, waiter stations, and reception counter, complete with column cladding in soft leather. Each element was designed to seamlessly align with the restaurant’s refreshed interior, creating a harmonious and sophisticated environment.
Seating and dining areas were transformed through custom tabletops, chairs, planters, and a semi-circular couch, while additional highlights included curved banquet units with ribbed detailing, bespoke wall panelling, and custom partitions with integrated seating. Every piece was meticulously manufactured and installed to ensure the updated design vision was fully realized without compromising operational functionality.
The completed refurbishment represents a striking, high-quality transformation delivered within an exceptionally tight timeframe, showcasing SAW’s ability to combine precision craftsmanship with rapid and efficient execution.
