Through its product and setting, the prestigious international brand Beefbar conveys a feeling of quality and luxury to its clients. When plans were drawn up for the second outlet in Malta, located in the 5-star Phoenicia Malta Hotel, SAW was entrusted with the completion of works for the fine dining destination.
Having already worked on the first Beefbar that opened in Malta, SAW was familiar with the high-end concept that has become synonymous with the brand. Rather than replicating the design used for the first outlet, however, SAW helped in developing fresh, new furniture to create a unique outlet that aligns with the brand’s overall feel.
The full project was completed in just six weeks from the day that SAW was first approached by the client. This project consisted of fitted joinery, wall panelling and loose furniture items such as chairs, banquets, curtains and tables. Throughout the outlet, a variety of materials were used including oak veneer, brass, marble, and fabric. Moreover, custom-made light fittings were sourced by SAW through one of the company’s trusted supply chain partners based in Venice.
