This elegant boutique hotel, nestled in the heart of Valletta, is a radically restored 18th-century palazzo that combines mid-century design with a subtle hint of Colonial-style glamour. The building has been reimagined through cutting-edge modern architecture, while the use of local materials lends the interiors a uniquely metropolitan, fresh, and luxurious finish.
Designed for culturally curious travellers, the hotel offers a refined base from which to discover the historic heart of Malta. Its cosmopolitan character balances heritage and contemporary design, creating an experience that feels both timeless and distinctly modern.
SAW contributed to this project with the furnishing of the bedrooms, including metal frames, louvered doors, and external apertures, all carefully integrated to complement the architectural language of the restored palazzo. Photographed by Elsa Allen
