SAW was selected as the joinery partner for the San Karlu Hotel refurbishment, a project presenting significant logistical challenges due to its location in the historic core of Valletta. Restricted site access and a tight schedule demanded careful planning and precise execution.
Our scope encompassed 31 guest rooms, 58 internal doors, 110 external apertures, 15 internal windows, and a balcony unit. We also delivered bespoke joinery for the reception desk and panelling, waiter station, seating benches, and storage units. This included fire-rated doors and all key furniture components to meet both aesthetic and operational requirements.
Through meticulous planning and expert craftsmanship, SAW ensured the project was completed on time, demonstrating our capability to manage complex renovations within historic urban settings while delivering high-quality, durable, and visually refined joinery.
